Questions

Frequently asked

Does my child need experience?

No. Beginners and seasoned performers both thrive here. Instructors meet each camper where they are, with one-on-one and small-group time.

What should campers bring?

Their instrument (if they play one), a notebook, comfortable clothes and boots, and a water bottle. Questions about what to pack? Just ask, we’re happy to help.

Where do Weatherford campers stay?

The Weatherford College camp is a day camp, so families arrange their own housing. Burson Ranch campers stay on the ranch, and lodging is included.

Can my camper attend both camps?

Yes! Just select both camps on the registration form. Tuition is per camp.

Is the final concert open to the public?

Absolutely. Each camp ends with a public concert on Thursday evening. Invite family and friends.

How do I pay?

Register online, then mail a check payable to “Y Bar J Productions” (with “Camp” in the memo) to Jean Prescott, P.O. Box 194, Ovalo, TX 79541. Online payment is coming soon.

Still have a question? Send us a note and Judy or Jean will get back to you.

Ready to saddle up?

Spots are limited at both camps. Register online in about 10 minutes. No printing, no scanning.
